Road Construction

The process of building and developing roads to aid transport. Various
aspects of this operation include monitoring the required thickness
which is determined by the subgrade strength, it is desirable to make
the subgrade as strong as possible. Road Construction involve:

Earthwork, before any work is started, the area on which the road
is going to be constructed should be cleared of all vegetation and
obstruction to construct the sub-base and base Course, Surface
Course, road markings, culverts construction & concrete work

Road Maintenance

Maintenance of existing road network to maintain the roads in a good condition acceptable for vehicles to drive on.

This Involves:

Potholes patching, cracks sealings, re-surfacing, painting of road signs
& replacement of damaged signs, blading of gravel roads and filling,
drainage maintenance.

Road Cleaning

Ensuring that the road reserve is cleaned by mowing the vegetation within 5 meters of the road, cleaning of litter and rest places, clearing of the drainage ways of blocking wastes,
